I have been a physics and science teacher working in the Bristol and Bath area since 2009. As well as 15 years experience of teaching A-Level physics in schools, I have many years experience as a private tutor in science and maths.
Tutoring is now my full time job: I work with private clients who want to boost their resuts and confidence in A-level Physics or Science or Maths GCSEs.
I also work for alternative provision schools in Bristol and Bath, and on behalf of local authorities, tutoring students who are educated otherwise than at school (EOTAS). The students I work with have a with a wide range of different abilities and needs.

I offer tutoring in Physics A-Level, and all science and maths subjects at GCSE and KS3. I can tutor either in your home or online. I am based in East Bristol and usually travel to students within the Bristol and Bath area. Please get in contact to discuss if I'm able to travel to you
What I offer
I will help you build your confidence and improve your grades. All learners are different and I will adapt my teaching to how a student learns best. I have a clear and precise style of explanation, and use questioning to assess and develop understanding. My lessons involve students learning actively through questioning and discussion, quizzes and exam question practice.
For online lessons I use an online whiteboard so that notes and work are saved for you to access and use for revision.
I will set students work to do between lessons and provide feedback on this work. This is key to ensuring good progress.
