I have been a physics and science teacher working in the Bristol and Bath area since 2009 and have 15 years of experience teaching A-Level Physics and GCSE sciences in schools. I now combine working for an alternative-provision school in Bristol with work as a private tutor in science and maths. I specialize in A-level Physics and GCSE Science tutoring.
I work with private clients who want to boost their results and confidence in A-Level physics or science and maths GCSEs.
I work with tutoring agencies on behalf of local authorities, tutoring students who are educated otherwise than at school (EOTAS). The students I work with have a wide range of different abilities and needs.

Physics A-level, Science and Maths Tutoring - Home and Online
I offer GCSE science tutoring and maths tutoring in Bristol, as well as Physics A-Level tutoring. I can provide tutoring either in your home or online. Based in East Bristol, I usually travel to students within the Bristol area. Please get in contact to discuss if I'm able to travel to you.
What I offer
I will help you build your confidence and improve your grades through personalized tutoring, including GCSE Science tutoring, Maths tutoring in Bristol, and Physics A-Level tutoring. All learners are different, and I will adapt my teaching to align with how each student learns best. My clear and precise style of explanation, combined with effective questioning, helps assess and develop understanding. My lessons involve active learning through questioning and discussion, quizzes, and exam question practice.
For online lessons, I utilize an online whiteboard so that notes and work are saved for easy access and revision.
I will assign students work to complete between lessons and provide feedback on this work, which is crucial for ensuring good progress.
My lessons aim to consolidate what is being learnt in school and boost confidence, with a focus on exam techniques to help students revise effectively, improve their performance, and achieve higher grades. I also offer teaching on whole parts of a syllabus to help students catch up on missed content.
Whatever your specific requirements, I will deliver carefully planned lessons that cater to the student's abilities and needs.
Prices
A - Level Physics tutoring is available at £60 per hour. I offer GCSE Science tutoring and Maths tutoring in Bristol for £50 per hour.
